How do I measure container volume without maths?

Fill the container with water to your desired fill level and pour it into a measuring jug. The reading in ml is your fill volume.

How full should I fill a candle container?

Leave 10-15 mm from the top. Most candle makers fill to 85-90% of the container height. This gives space for a second pour and prevents spillover.

90% is the standard recommendation. This leaves a small gap at the top for aesthetics and safety.
