How We Calculate This
How the Calculation Works
Base sheet: The flat template width = box length + 2 x box height + 2 x glue tabs. The template length = box width + 2 x box height + 2 x glue tabs.
Separate lid: The lid is sized larger by 2 x material thickness + 1 mm clearance. Lid wall height is typically one-third of the box height (minimum 2 cm).
Hinged lid: The lid is part of the same sheet, adding extra length for the lid panel and hinge.
