The resin void (river channel) is typically 25–45% of the total table surface area. A narrow river uses around 25–30%, while a wide, dramatic river can be 40–50%. The percentage depends on how the wood slabs are cut and positioned.

Can I pour deep resin in one go?

Most epoxy resins should be poured in layers no deeper than 1–2cm per pour to avoid overheating from the exothermic curing reaction. Deep-pour epoxy resins allow up to 5cm per pour but cure much more slowly (48–72 hours per layer). Always follow the manufacturer guidance.
